How to stabilize a head in a footage in After Effects?

Pre-comp the layer and apply unsharp mask. (child comp)
Use mocha in that layer to track the eyes.
Create AE masks
Now copy the masks , and paste on PARENT comp, to reveal and feather the eyes of the child comp – the eyes are now cut out from child comp, because of the masks.
Adjust to fit.
Now export this into a video, send to phone, Facetune Video, whiten eyes
Export back to computer
Import into PARENT comp and paste the EYES mark on the comp, adjust opacity to fit!

Track the surface as usual like tracking an area.
Turn on planar tracking and draw and track the planes.
Switch to the AdjustTracker tab in Mocha to work on the planar plane, this would create keyframes like the usual motion tracking. (See video below)
When all the motion tracking, and planar plane tracking is close and correct, save and close Mocha.
Back in AE, create a new composition of the same shape as the current video composition. So if it’s a wide-screen 1920×1080 video (parent comp), then create a new comp of 1920×1080 (surface comp).
Add the picture to overlay in the surface comp, you can distort the shape to fill up the whole comp.
Now add the surface comp into parent comp.
Select the layer/surface you tracked in Step 1.
In the Mocha effect, select Tracking data > Export Option > Corner Pin (support motion blur)
Select the “surface comp” layer, in “Layer Export to”, and hit “Apply Export”

Select Warp Stabilizer.
Choose Stabilize > Synthesize edges (instead of default Stabilize, crop, Auto-scale.
Under Advanced, adjust Synthesis input range and Synthesis Feather.

This has always bugged me too, but you can make a work around:

Select the track at the bottom
scroll to top using scroll bar
CTRL+ click the track at the top (now both tracks are selected).
Execute: Channel & Track Visibility/Agents: Show only selected tracks (Inspector | Visibilty column, choose Visibility > Right click on the tracks > Show only selected tracks)
Move bottom track above top track
Execute: Channel & Track Visibility/Agents: Show all tracks

This seems complicated and long, but if you make shot cut keys for the Visibility agents, it’s pretty fast. Not ideal I agree.

Use 2 fingers pad to hit, to record the midi. Then replace with the right samples. Tympani.

Tongue click, snap:

XP Drum singles > Dr percussions 11 > C2

Simply double click on the screen.
