  1. Play music from your Cubase, where Stereo Output is currently sent to MON L and MON R.<\/li>\n
  2. We need to switch Headphone Mix to get its source from itself instead of the MIX (full everything).\n
      \n
    1. Select Console > Cue Outputs (extreme right of the Console page)<\/li>\n
    2. Change HP Source to HP.<\/li>\n
    3. Now you should hear nothing on Headphone, but your Monitors are still playing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    4. We’re sending Stereo Out from Cubase DAW currently. But change! Instead of using MON L and MON R, use Virtual 1 and Virtual 2 now, so that we can control what is sent to the Headphone Mix\u00a0 on the Apollo Twin jack. Save the preset setting in Cubase, so it is remembered.<\/li>\n
    5. However when you do that, both Virtuals are currently panned to Center as seen in Console > Overview. So your music sounds flat. Like MONO.<\/li>\n
    6. We need to pan Virtual 1 left and Virtual 2 right. Once you do that, your Stereo image music sounds correct.<\/li>\n
    7. We mute the Console > Overview > Mic input line, so our music Monitors don’t have to hear our Mic.<\/li>\n
    8. Now to let the Headphone Mix hear the Mic, click the Sends title in Console > Overview > Analog 2 (where your Mic is).\n

      1. Now you can adjust how much to send to your Headphone mix, by bringing up the volume under the column “HP”.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      2. Similar, click on the Sends title for Virtual 1 and Virtual 2 , and send roughly -34.0 db to “HP”.<\/li>\n
      3. Now under Console > Control Room (right), you can select the various Sources – Mix, HP to switch between what is heard from Monitors and Headphone.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Now all we need is a SCREEN for vocalist to adjust the volume in Step 7.1 and Step 8, and the full Headphone Volume.<\/p>\n
